About Us:

CHATEAU PINOT is a craft family winery with a complete production cycle: from vineyard to bottle. The winery's name is determined by the fact that we exclusively grow grapes of the Pinot group - Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. The founders of the winery are the Golov family - large and friendly. We are not tenth-generation winemakers, and our main business is the "Odesa Cork Factory," but we produce quality local Ukrainian wine using modern European technologies, with the assistance of one of the best winemaker-technologists in Ukraine, Yevheniia Pustovit, and experienced laboratory manager, Yuliia Ivanova. The vineyards were planted in 2014, and the winery was built in 2019. The first release of our wines was planned for 2022, but due to a large-scale invasion, it was postponed, so it took place only in 2023.
Our winery is located in the south of the Odesa region, in one of the best Ukrainian winemaking regions - the Danube Bessarabia, in the Izmail district, in the village of Ozernе. Winemaking here is an ancient tradition dating back to the time when Greeks and Thracians first discovered these fertile lands. CHATEAU PINOT wines are made from grapes grown on the slopes of the largest freshwater lake in Ukraine - Yalpug. 60 hectares of vineyards grow on clayey soils, rich in minerals, with deep limestone deposits. Each vine yields only a few clusters, which are harvested by hand. They have a rich taste and aroma, giving the wine strength, harmony, and elegance. The geographical location at the same latitude as Bordeaux (France) and Piedmont (Italy) provides an excellent opportunity to grow grapes in the best climatic conditions.
In CHATEAU PINOT wines, you will find the living terroir that created them. It is not destroyed by harsh chemicals, flavorings, dyes, or additives.
